Project Manager - Homegrown Consultancy - Belfast Office

They are seeking a Senior Level Project Manager to join their busy Team based in Belfast. Offering a vast range of professional and technical expertise across an unrivalled number of services, their project portfolio is extensive and spans across many sectors, amongst others, Education, Infrastructure, Sports & Leisure, Retail, Heritage, Commercial and Residential. The breadth and depth of their experience, innovative and personal approach ensures that they add value to any project, regardless of size, complexity, or sector.
Your new role
Reporting to the Directors and managing junior members of an integrated project management team, you will lead a mix of projects across the public and private sectors. You will be responsible for representing your employer throughout the full life cycle of projects and take responsibility for the successful delivery of project management commissions, whilst managing tender documents, appraisals and negotiations, building control, feasibility studies, option appraisals, cost plans and business cases, procurement including preparation of contract documents, drawings and specifications. You will be actively involved in managing and developing the team to deliver projects profitably and to meet targets. You will be working on a range of exciting projects across a range of sectors, both Private and Public.
What you'll need to succeed
Applicants should be degree qualified, ideally NEC 4 Accredited or open to pursuing such, and have current or previous experience working in a consultancy environment. You should have led and managed a range of projects. It is desirable that you are proficient in tender documents, negotiations, building control, feasibility studies, option appraisals, risk registers, cost plans and business cases, procurement including preparation of contract documents, drawings and specifications. With excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a professional manner, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise your own work. Whilst it isn't essential that you are chartered in your chosen field (APC / ARB / CIOB etc), being open to gaining this accreditation will help for your profile within the company, sector and for future bids / tenders.
