We are currently seeking an FRA Project Manager in Wickford. The company is a multidisciplinary company with extensive and proven experience in providing a wide range of services for the internal and external fabric of commercial buildings. From maintenance and remedial works, through to fire stopping and water proofing.

The Role

To undertake and provide complete project management of all FRA works activities, assisting in progressing work leads through the pre-construction phase. Some of the specific duties would include:

Generate and progress FRA sales leads to an FRA works order whilst maintaining and developing positive client relationships. Provide accurate site survey information and create quotations for FRA leads and sales opportunities, developing pricing models and specifications for FRA works as required. Generate, support, and submit FRA tender documentation where required to comply with client's tender requirements. Develop and support construction health & safety plans and RAMS for FRA works when required and ensure compliance and adherence to all health & safety legislation and regulations. Accountable for the profit & loss on each FRA works order or project, ensure commercial and operational risks are reviewed and mitigated where required, and reported to your line manager. Managing the fire industry accreditations for the office and site audits to ensure we retain or acquire the relevant fire industry accreditation. Day-to-day project management of the FRA works ensuring that all supervisors, operatives, and sub-contractors are working efficiently and productively. Ensuring that subcontractor works are carried out in accordance with the FRA works orders received, and in accordance with the client's specification. Ensuring sites have the correct operational resources, appropriate labour allocation, fully stocked with appropriate materials and access equipment, whilst minimizing waste.

About You
The ideal candidate would be either an experienced project manager or FRA worker looking to take that next step into leading the operational side of a medium-sized subcontractor.
Qualifications & Training
NVQ Level 2 or above in Passive Fire Protection. IFE level 3 certificate in passive fire protection. Full clean driving license. DBS check required. Passive FRA trade qualification or approved installer registration. SMSTS qualification. First Aid Certificate. IOSH certificate. E learning courses in Asbestos awareness, Sharps & Needles, Manual Handling, COSH, Fire management and working at height.
