Mane are looking for an experience Project Manager with experience in large scale Solar projects.

You will be working for a leading Electrical Contractor who have projects all over the UK.

As a Project Manager, you will cover the following;

• Project Management:
  • Oversee projects from Pre-Construction to Commissioning.
  • Direct and manage operational staff, including planning, organizing, and coordinating on-site labor.
  • Handle procurement needs, including plant, material, and equipment logistics.
  • Complete general project administration, following NEC contract processes.
  • Produce and review HSE documentation and procedures.
  • Compile and complete quality assurance documentation.
  • Update key construction documents and coordinate with project teams, such as programs and working drawings.
  • Assist Commercial & Quantity Surveying staff with account administration and notifications.
  • Manage electronic filing and collation of site documentation.
• Liaison and Coordination:
  • Attend meetings and liaise with internal and external personnel as needed, both on-site and at client premises.
  • Administer and manage Sub-Contractors.
• Training and Development:
  • Provide training and support for further development and progression.
  • Report to the head of the department.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical and Professional Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems; electrical-specific qualification preferred.
  • Relevant Management Qualification, Degree, HNC, or NVQ in a construction-related subject.
  • Experience in the renewables sector, particularly with large-scale solar PV projects.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in IT, especially in MS Office, with strong skills in Excel.
  • Strong understanding of Health, Safety, Environmental, and CDM requirements.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good time management skills with flexibility to travel for work as required.
• Travel:
  • Ability to travel nationwide and visit various projects.
