Our client, a well-established roofing company, is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee projects in the Warwick and Leamington Spa region. Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Manage roofing projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance.
- Client Relations: Liaise with councils and housing associations to understand their requirements and deliver exceptional service.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of skilled professionals, including roofers and surveyors.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Ensure timely availability of materials and resources for project commencement.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks and maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Surveying: Utilize your expertise to assess project sites and provide accurate measurements.
- Quoting: Prepare and review project quotes, balancing cost-effectiveness and quality.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in roofing or construction is essential.
- SMSTS and Health & Safety: Possess relevant certifications (SMSTS) and a strong commitment to safety protocols.
- Team Leadership: Ability to manage and inspire a team effectively.
- Surveying Skills: Familiarity with surveying techniques and accurate measurements.
- Excellent Communication: Clear communication with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to addressing challenges and finding solutions.
- Quoting Experience: Comfortable handling multiple quotes daily.
