GBR Recruitment Ltd are working exclusively on before of a Commercial Property client, recruiting for an experienced Property Project Manager to lead the sale of their South West Office, due to the restructuring of the business operations & a more remote working pattern being rolled out across the business.

You will be a strong Project Manager, with a strong Commercial / Industrial Property background.

Your previous experience will include Commercial / Industrial Property sales, the sale / disposal of fixed assets, the recycling of fixed assets (WEEE), arranging property fixtures & fittings removal / repurposing, sub contract management, service provision management / cancellation of services (utilities, cleaning, maintenance etc.), some exposure to Estate / Facilities Management would also be highly useful.

Ideally you will have experience in IT infrastructures relocation management (servers, hubs, data centres), plus Tenants liaison & lease / rental termination negotiation, plus you will be highly versed in key stakeholder liaisons & SMT communication (C-Level).

Duties:

  • Full Property Sale Project Management (end to end) liaising with Agents.
  • Full Site Closure Project Management (removal of fixed assets, IT servers & infrastructures, removal of general fixtures & fittings, cancellation of service agreements for utilities & other provisions supplied to the company.
  • Budget control & management for the site closure project.
  • Arranging removals & logistics.
  • Communicating to the SMT, plus all affected employees moving into a remote working pattern / process
  • WEEE recycling / repurposing of unwanted asset, with 3rd party assistance (liaising with recycling / repurposing / disposal companies)
  • Risk Register Management & Risk Mitigation Control
  • Liaising regularly with the Commercial Property Estate Agent carrying out the sale of the property, ensuring viewings of the property are conducted at a suitable time & ensuring that the company can achieve the most exposure for the sale to be successful, plus secure the very best deal sales wise, to bring in reusable revenue for the company
  • Liaising regularly with legal teams (solicitors & professional advisors)
  • Liaising with the local authorities (council)
  • Consulting & offering guidance to the CEO on all things property / facilities, fixed asset, relocation related
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork / documentation is in place

Attributes:

  • Property Management experience, ideally commercial
  • Facilities Management experience desired
  • Fixed Asset Removal / Repurposing & Sales experience is ideal
  • IT infrastructures knowledge is useful (Servers, Hubs, Data centres)
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Live within the Bath / South West area as on-site presence needed
  • Happy to work on a fixed term 3-6 months contract, starting January 2024
  • Budgeting skills
  • Strong negotiation skills

This role is a 1 stage interview process, with the successful applicant due to start in the first or second week of January 2024.

Commutable from Bath, Weston Super Mare, Frome, Trowbridge, Newport (Wales), Chippenham, Yate, Shepton Mallet, Warminster, Stroud, Swindon, Cirencester, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Burnham on Sea, Wells, Bridgwater & areas of the Cotswolds.
