Public Health Programme Manager

About The Role

This is your opportunity to be at the forefront of health and social care transformation in Lincolnshire as a Public Health programme manager. This is a new post which will be a key member of our management team, focusing on a programme of work to transform care and health services with digital solutions.

Your work will lead on introducing new technologies and ways of working to health and social care services in the county. Working with partners and people with health and care needs, you will ensure that benefits are identified and tracked, people's views and experiences shape solutions and data from digital technologies is used ethically. You will seek out new funding opportunities and best practice to shape our approach across the county in partnership with NHS and care providers.

About You

This is a developing area for the council and its partners. You will have a knowledge of how digital and data can transform services, but more importantly a passion for the potential of technology can have in helping people live their lives well.

You will have:

  • Experience of managing transformational projects amongst a diverse range of organisations across the health and social care system
  • An understanding of the advantages that technology offers in improving health outcomes and providing support to individuals with diverse care requirements.
  • An awareness of the regulatory frameworks including the safety and ethical considerations of using technology in care and support situations coupled with strategies to address these challenges and ensure equitable access for all.
  • An understanding of social care and health data and information flows and the importance of utilising high-quality intelligence for evidenced informed decision making to drive continuous improvement.

About The Team

This role is positioned within the Public Health Division of the Adult Care and Community Wellbeing Directorate of the County Council but will be require you to work with organisations across the Lincolnshire Integrated Care System. As such you will liaise with a range of professionals working to influence, promote and protect the health of communities through initiatives focused on disease prevention, health promotion, and policy development. This position will work also closely with the Council's Corporate Transformation, IT and Adult Social care teams as well as the Health Intelligence function of the Public Health Division.

A Smarter Working Employer

You will be given a nominated contractual work base and you will be required to commute to this work base when necessary.
