Invision Recruitment are partnered with a leading Contractor with projects in UK, Ireland, Mainland Europe, USA and Canada. They specialise within Data Centres, Advanced Manufacturing, and Pharmaceuticals.

Currently, we are seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. Within this scheme, you will be involved in a large-scale new build warehouse valued over 100m, for one of the biggest companies globally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Minimise risk in all aspects of your duties, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Demonstrate technical proficiency and undertake your role to the best of your ability.
• Obtain multiple quotations from the market for all domestic work packages to demonstrate best value to your commercial manager.
• Ensure comprehensive enquiry documentation, detailing project scope and contractual information for accurate pricing by the supply chain.
• Assess supply chain quotations with the site team to ensure all works are fully priced, minimising financial or construction risk.
• Collaborate with senior commercial staff to check contract documentation, ensuring compliance with insurance, bond, and warranty requirements, and aim to have executed contracts before work commencement.
• Liaise with senior commercial staff to ensure the main contract requirements are stepped down to the supply chain, with warranties and subcontracts in place before site work begins.
• Compile interim valuations and variations in line with contractual requirements, ensuring sufficient detail for client assessment and certifying completed works for payment.
• Monitor outstanding sales invoices, ensuring timely debt settlement by working with accounts and client representatives.
