Quantity Surveyor
We have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor based in Southampton. The business operates nationally, undertaking projects across the healthcare, education, commercial and extra care sectors valuing up to 75mil. Projects are administered via a mix of JCT and NEC forms of contract and many are procured via government and local authority frameworks.
About the role of Quantity Surveyor:
As Quantity Surveyor you will be working either within a team on a larger scheme or managing your own smaller scheme. You will be reporting into the Commercial Manager and will be working closely with the operational teams.
Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:
- Involvement in pre-construction activities
- Sub-contract procurement
- Managing sub-contract packages
- Client valuations
- Dealing with sub-contractor variations
- Final accounts
Key Requirements as Quantity Surveyor:
- Construction related degree / HNC
- Experience managing projects administering JCT & NEC forms of contract
- Live within a commutable distance to Guildford
- Have the full right to work in the UK
