Freelance Quantity Surveyor - Cut & Carve Refurbishment Reading
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a 16m cut & carve refurbishment project in Reading. This scheme will run for 12 months, with responsibility through to CAT A completion.
The Role:
Manage commercial aspects of the project from procurement through to final account.
Oversee subcontractor accounts, variations, valuations, and payments.
Prepare cost reports and forecasts, ensuring budget control.
Work closely with the Project Manager and site team to drive commercial performance.
Requirements:
Proven experience delivering cut & carve refurbishment projects.
Strong knowledge of procurement, cost control, and contract management.
Ability to manage high-value packages on complex schemes.
Available to start promptly and commit for the project duration.
