Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for commercial glazing projects.
- Conduct detailed measurements and valuations of work done on-site.
- Manage project finances, including procurement, contract administration, and cost control.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor project progress and prepare reports, forecasts, and final accounts.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the commercial glazing or construction industry.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Office, cost estimating software).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
