Responsibility for delivering our Sage Foundation and Sustainability strategy in EMEA - mobilising the Sage ecosystem to deliver on our commitments through community investment and local partnerships.
We have an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of our Sustainability and Sage Foundation team, working with non-profit organisations, Sage colleagues and partners to lead our Sustainability and Sage Foundation strategies in EMEA. As a member of the Sage Foundation Leadership Team, you will have the opportunity to shape, learn and grow through working with diverse internal and external stakeholders to deliver real impact and ensure Sage is delivering on our commitment to knock down barriers to everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Key Responsibilities Summary of your day-to-day?
1. Own the EMEA Sustainability and Sage Foundation strategy:
• Develop and deliver the EMEA strategy and operational plan that delivers on our commitments
• Ensure local initiatives contribute to global strategic goals and related KPIs and that local strategies align with our global approach
• Ensure policy developments are proactively integrated into strategy
• Feed into the development of global programmes and best practices
• Own stakeholder relationships in region, including but not limited to Country Managers, People leads, Supply Chain, Legal and Risk and Corporate Affairs
• Identify and drive synergies across the Sustainability & Foundation teams
• Own reporting, governance, measurement and evaluation for EMEA
2. Engage the Sage ecosystem to deliver our volunteering and fundraising targets:
• Own and deliver the annual operational plan to achieve our volunteering and fundraising targets across the region - adapting and innovating to increase our contribution and impact.
• Work across the Sage Foundation team to connect our global partnerships to our EMEA initiatives and enhance our partner and customer ecosystem programs.
• Manage a regional budget to achieve the above.
3. Regional partnership and programme development:
• Define and execute our regional partnership strategy in collaboration with the global Programmes team
• Maximise and track impact delivered through our EMEA partnerships
• On-going proactive relationship management to identify new or expanded opportunities to scale and amplify impact through collaboration
4. As the Sustainability and Foundation SME you will be the main point of contact in EMEA for Sustainability & Sage Foundation:
• Translate the ESG and Foundation strategies for the EMEA region
• Feed regional insight into the global Sustainability and Sage Foundation teams
• Accountable for the delivery of regional programmes as defined and agreed with the global teams
• Embed sustainability within the region
5. Be an engaged member of the global Sustainability and Sage Foundation team:
• Contribute to our continuous improvement as a team - working on global projects (e.g data/impact improvements, programme development, global ambassador initiatives, etc.)
• Play an active part in enhancing the reputation of Sustainability and Sage Foundation
Skills, know-how and experience:
Must have:
• Strong analytical skills with knowledge of the EMEA regulatory and policy environment and trends
• Experience and passion for shaping and working on sustainability and foundation strategies within a complex matrix environment
• Experience of implementing strategic deliverables
• A passion for data, with the ability to focus on what is material
• Autonomous with excellent stakeholder management skills
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Excellent communicator and collaborator
• Excellent people manager skills with experience managing across countries and timezones
