Are you a Senior Account Manager looking to join a UK market leader?
As the Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a range of high potential grocery accounts, looking at how the client can maximise revenue and provide innovative solutions to meet their objectives.
The role requires an experienced and energetic Senior Account Manager with a proven track record in sales and account management and in-depth experience and existing relationships within the Grocery and FMCG sector.
You will forging strong relations with grocery retailers to deliver mutual business objectives. Acting as the first point of contact for grocery retailers, networks and agencies and responding to requests and concerns in a timely manner. Owning a Grocery portfolio of predominately mid-tier and high potential account.
The Senior Account Manager will possess the following skills and experience:
- Account management experience working with Grocery partners or for a Grocer/FMCG business.
- Confident, articulate 'people person' with excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated and pragmatic - works well to targets and happy to take on responsibility for multiple deliverables and projects working independently and as part of a team.
- Tenacious and resilient - overcomes setbacks quickly and identifies new approaches when required.
- Comfortable presenting opportunities face to face, speaking on phone and meeting new clients at networking events.
- Good numeracy skills - competent working with numbers and more complex statistical data.
- Super organised - able to multitask and thrives working towards targets and deadlines.
- Commercially savvy.
- Loves the web and comfortable learning new interfaces and programmes.
