Senior Construction Manager required for ongoing high end fit out schemes

Your new company is a dynamic and progressive interior fit-out and specialist joinery contractor with an international track record and a reputation for delivering a world class fit-out service across a range of sectors including luxury hotels, prime residential, museums, stadiums, arenas, commercial. marine and modular solutions.
Due to continued growth and contract awards we are currently looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Construction Manager for high-end interiors projects in major UK cities.
Your new role
The Senior Construction Manager will be responsible for all site activities, including the planning, management and monitoring of day-to-day operations ensuring that all works are completed safely, to specification and within the project programme timescale. Main duties will include:

Create, influence and maintain a safe working culture on site. Lead by example to ensure that all policies, procedures, environmental measures and safety standards are followed. Identify risk areas, and develop and implement mitigation plans Assist the Project Manager in the development of the overall project programme and subsequently develop weekly and daily work schedules to progress all works consistent with the overall programme. Proactively contribute to the design and detailing of the scope of works to ensure the works can be carried out efficiently and result in an exemplar quality product. Interface with the Client's team and be the point of contact for all construction issues on site. Hold regular meetings with your construction team and sub-contractors to ensure the works can be carried out in a safe, efficient manner and programme timescales are met. Implementation of all relevant processes and procedures as set out in the Site Administration Handbook. Proactively contribute into the Project Quality Plan, in particular the Inspection and Test Plan and ensure that all aspects of the works are progressively monitored to ensure that the required levels of quality are achieved throughout the works. Ensure the site works are carried out in the most cost-effective manner and highlight any issues to the Project Manager that may have an impact on profitability on the project. What you'll need to succeed
The ideal Senior Construction Manager will have the following:
Extensive management experience on high value interior fit-out type projects particularly luxury hotel and high-end residential. Fit-out experience should include swimming pools and spas. Experience working with tier one contractors on major projects. Fully competent in H&S. CSCS Black Card and SSSTS/SMSTS are desirable. Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills. Strong strategic commercial acumen and the ability to add value and optimise profits. Good IT skills with the ability to produce programmes and reports. Ability to build and promote successful customer relationships. Experience working in a pressurised environment and remain calm under pressure. Strong influencing, negotiating and presentation skills. What you'll get in return
