Your new role
This is an interim Senior HR Advisor available on a Fixed Term Contract between 3/6 months. Joining a fast paced and experienced HR Team. Duties and responsibilities include:



  • Working as part of the HR Advisory Team reporting to respective HR Business Partner(s) working in collaboration with HR Support team
  • Working operationally aiding delivery of change management, projects involving restructure/redundancies, and TUPE transfers.
  • Providing generalist HR support by coaching managers of colleagues on policies and procedures; ensuring consistency across sectors in disciplinary, grievance, performance management, recruitment, selection procedures, and employment tribunals.
  • Leading and contributing to HR projects.
  • Contributing to HR initiatives and strategies to address challenges and identify opportunities to improve.
  • Monitoring long term absence for a designated case load; submitting and managing occupational health referrals.
  • Ability to collaborate with the wider People Services Team and have an open mind to support continuous improvement of our processes and procedures.
  • In collaboration with the HR Team, monitor, interpret and implement all new and revised legislation relating to our policies and procedures ensuring that significant changes are communicated appropriately.


What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this job you will need to be:



  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Have a positive and focused attitude when dealing with all colleagues
  • Be able to take personal responsibility
  • Have a flexible and positive attitude towards work
  • CIPD level 5 as minimum (Associate CIPD), or equivalent professional body
  • Able to demonstrate substantial HR experience in particular TUPE and Trade Union industrial relations


What you'll get in return
In return you will be offered either an interim or FTC for this Senior HR Advisor job (3/6 months), you will have the chance to join a collaborative team with a salary of c£35,000 £40,000 (dependant on experience).

REMOTE WORKING will be considered on this position for the right experience and skills set.
