Your new companyI am delighted to be representing this Renewable Energy company as they expand their procurement team. This organisation has multiple sites across the UK and has a variety of active projects around the company, making the work varied and interesting. Your new roleIn this role you will be expected to:
- Initiate and implement procurement strategies throughout the company
- Monitor and deal with supply chain risks
- Manage a team of 3 procurement professionals
- Give commercial support and insight to the further business
- Contract award and management
- Work closely with the DCO engineering and construction teams
What you'll need to succeedA successful applicant will have:
- Previous experience in people management
- A significant amount of hands-on procurement experience
- CIPS qualifications (or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of the renewables/energy industry would be advantageous
- Worked within EPC
