SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

2 YEAR FIXED TERM - £45,585 + BENEFITS

EDINBURGH BASED

Loriens Edinburgh based client requires the skills of a Senior Project Manager to support them on a portfolio of projects over the next 2 years.

The successful candidate will

• Organise and convene regularly with programme sponsors to ensure that business priorities, milestones, targets and constraints are reviewed, agreed and managed
• Manage programme to ensure delivery of projects to standards within overall deadlines and budgets
• Implement effective programme governance reviewing and approving governance submissions across the programme and providing project managers with constructive feedback and advice on governance requirements and actions
• Coordinate monthly programme reporting - ensure reports are completed on a timely basis, confirm RAG status of each project, produce reporting on use of resources across the programme and a high level commentary on the overall programme status
• Coordinate the development of project proposals in collaboration with business partners to ensure the success of the annual planning process

Essential Skills/Experience

• Established record of successfully delivering projects in line with business and strategic objectives
• Ability to influence, guide and challenge senior staff
• Experience of developing effective relationships and establishing trust with colleagues and customers
• In depth knowledge of industry best practice and project management techniques with the practical ability to use these to consistently deliver strategic solutions.
