We are proud to be working alongside our superb Client, who has a fantastic opportunity for a very experienced Construction Senior Project Manager to join their team and hit the ground running!
The right candidate would need to be willing to travel, both within the UK and occasionally in Europe. You will also ideally have experience within the Living wall / Construction industry.
Our Client works with green infrastructure systems, helping architects and developers integrate the right solutions in environmental assets, working across many countries.
Main purpose of this role -
The key objective of this role is to ensure the installation department runs to budget and to build a strong cohesive team that is always striving to improve.
Key responsibilities -
- Lead and support the installation team, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure project success.
- Mentor and assist other Project Managers within the team to achieve project goals and maintain profitability.
- Assume complete ownership of projects from handover to final client sign-off, ensuring adherence to profitability targets and delivery schedules.
- Determine project resource requirements, including manpower, equipment, and materials, while mindful of budget constraints.
- Strategically plan construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to guarantee timely project completion.
- Collaborate with clients to align design specifics with ANS standards, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the nursery team to plan production, ensuring timely availability of items for installation and addressing any arising issues promptly.
- Liaise with site teams to effectively plan installation materials and resources, allowing ample time for acquisition.
- Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to manage project costs and timelines effectively.
- Supervise and guide labourers and mechanics as necessary to maintain project quality and efficiency.
- Evaluate project progress and prepare detailed reports on milestones and challenge
- Act as the point of escalation for all installation projects.
- Liaise with finance to advise on the timely issuance of sales invoices.
- Produce comprehensive Health & Safety documentation alongside Operation & Maintenance guides.

Key Skills and Experience -
Essential:
- Happy to travel
- Experience with MS Office
- Fluent verbal and written English
- Proven track record as a construction project manager for projects exceeding £5 million in value.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials
- Familiarity with quality standards and a strong grasp of health and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with construction/project management software.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
- A collaborative team player with strong leadership skills.

Desirable:
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- Diploma or BSc in Project Management, construction Management or Similar
