Senior Quantity Surveyor Main Contractor
Location: Kent & South London
Salary: £75,000 £85,000 + Car Allowance
Our client is a well-established Main Contractor with an impressive turnover of £120m, operating across a diverse range of sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team and take the lead on new build residential projects in Kent and South London.
The Role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing all commercial aspects of projects, ensuring financial efficiency and profitability while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities

Oversee cost planning, management and control on new build residential schemes.

Prepare and manage budgets, valuations, and final accounts.

Procure subcontractors and manage contracts effectively.

Work closely with Project Managers and site teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget and on time.

Provide commercial advice to both the client and internal teams.
Requirements

Proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally at Senior level.

Previous experience working with a main contractor on new build residential projects.

Strong knowledge of JCT contracts.

Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

Good communication and leadership ability.
