Senior Site Manager - High-End Residential Sector - Somerset
An innovative and rapidly expanding construction company specializing in residential projects is seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Manager to join our team in Somerset on a permanent basis. With a focus on large plots of social/affordable housing developments, their projects are synonymous with quality and excellence, reflecting the commitment to meeting the highest standards possible.
The Role:
The successful Senior Site Manager will play a pivotal role in leading our latest venture - large plots of social/affordable housing, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to our exacting standards. This role offers an immediate start, with a goal to have the successful candidate on-site before the 29th of this month.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring project milestones are met efficiently.
- Lead, motivate, and manage site teams to ensure high productivity and quality craftsmanship.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project progression.
- Enforce strict compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring the best use of resources and materials.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all aspects of the project meet our high-end residential standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager within the residential sector, with specific experience in managing large plots of social/affordable housing.
- A solid track record of successfully completed projects in the sector, demonstrating an ability to manage complex developments.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate teams.
- A strong understanding of construction processes, regulations, and standards.
- Relevant construction qualifications (CSCS Card, SMSTS, First Aid) are highly desirable.
