Senior Site Manager (Top Tier Contractor) RC Frame & Refurb - London - £70,000 + package
I am working with a top tier contractor with a strong and growing pipeline for 2024/25.
We are supporting their search for an experienced site manager to join their London team.
You will have a steady career profile having worked with other top tier or tier two contractors and be looking to step across to a company offering long-term stability. You'll also have RC frame/Cut & Carve and Interiors experience.
The project is Cut & Carve on an existing RC Frame with an extension and refurb, circa £20M build, JCT D&B. You will be working closely with the PM and No1 Site Manager managing the job.
The project and packages include: Alteration, refurbishment and extension works; New lift core and pit, structural upgrade to frame, external façade & Interiors packages including a specialist acoustic room.
You will:
Manage the site and ensure procedures are followed and work is delivered to high standards, kept within budget and on programme.
Supervise any direct labour and subcontractors coordinating work on the site so that all operations are performed efficiently and in accordance with the construction programme and the quality and cost standards required.
Ensure that all work is kept on programme and that all details as specified in the drawings and instructions are followed.
Monitor, maintain and update all health and safety requirements and procedures.
Understand customer's objectives and ensure good communication to the team.
Review and action sub-contractor performance any issues to all relevant parties.
Deputise for project manager at project/progress meetings and offer assistance in project review.
You will have:
A relevant construction qualification, SMSTS/First Aid and relevant experience on similar scale projects.
