The job as Site Agent where you will have overall responsibility for the successful delivery of multi-million-pound project, reporting to the Project Manager. More specifically:
- Deliver the work to the specified quality without defects
- Lead a team of Sub Agents, Engineers and Foreman to deliver the work safely without environmental incidents.
- Ensure production and implementation of Project Plans, RAMS, ITP s and waste management plans, in line with Company procedures
- Ensure the commercial performance of the contract is maximised
- Produce and manage the project programme and produce 2 weeks look ahead
- Produce procurement schedules and liaise with the procurement department to ensure sites have adequate resources to complete the tasks
- Input into the construction programme.
You will have
To be successful as Site Agent you will have experience in managing projects for roads and sewers, 278 works and new build island projects. You will ideally also have experience of working with schemes in value up to £15 million. Plus, a healthy mix of the following:
- Considerable experience in Civil Engineering and as a Site agent for a contractor, delivering projects in a highly regulated environment.
- Working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM Regulations, Design management, Programme and Risk Management and cost Control.
- Be experienced in managing and co-ordinating complex design
- Be adept in delivering high level compliance and assurance across all aspects of the project.
- Have the ability to develop and cultivate a collaborative working relationship with client and stakeholders.
- Have excellent leadership, organisational and communication qualities to manage engineering team of 1-2 people in terms of project outputs as well as team and individual development.
- Degree/HNC in civil Engineering
- IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS
- Be proficient at management and coordination of project budget and controls
- Have good problem solving and troubleshooting experience
