We have secured a package of Access for All schemes at stations around London. Each of these will comprise of M&E, building and civils works. Each projects is valued between £5-£8m. You'll be working on (what your role and responsibility is) The role could cover 1 of 5 schemes we have secured at stations around London. To be a working Manager to ensure the team work in a safe, profitable, planned manner to achieve the programme and deliver a quality product and service. You will be delivering the project works from start to finish and carrying out safety and quality audits To develop and maintain positive relationships. To promote and protect the Octavius Infrastructure reputation whilst remaining customer focused and in line with Company policies and values. To lead by example by engendering the collaborative culture throughout the site team, including suppliers and customers, ensuring that everyone works towards our common vision of a vibrant delivery mechanism that delivers on promises, chosen by customers and has safety at its core. Be responsible for safety first culture onsite. About you (what you are skilled at) Highly organised, with excellent planning and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities without compromising on safety, standards and quality Highly motivated, results-oriented with a positive outlook Safety first mindset, with the ability to assess and mitigate risks including those associated with working within the railway environment Technically savvy, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Project Problem solver with the ability to both challenge designs and produce/explain accurate plans and drawings You'll bring (your wealth of experience & qualifications) Experience: Experience in the operational delivery of a construction project, and awareness of current techniques Working knowledge of NEC contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management. Programme and risk management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost and value reporting. Good knowledge of specifications and testing regimes relevant to general civil engineering. Proven experience of delivering projects valued between £1m and £10m. Leadership experience, running a team of up to 10 direct reports assisting their all-round development. Working knowledge of the Construction (Design) and Management 2015 regulations, highways and/or rail standards and other relevant industry regulations. Qualifications: A related degree, diploma, or vocational qualification, or equivalent demonstrable experience in Construction or Civil Engineering. Site Managers Safety Training Scheme, or equivalent CDM 2015 training. Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Certification IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS Knowledge of Primavera P6 Software or Microsoft Projects (desirable) Chartered membership with a relevant industry body (desirable) Personal Track Safety / Highways Passport (desirable) Temporary Works Coordination (desirable) C.Eng MICE, or Equivalent (desirable) CRE Capabilities (desirable) You'll work with (because relationships are important) A team of highly motivated, dedicated professionals delivering projects across a variety of frameworks with clients such as Network Rail and TfL.
