My client is a national multi-disciplined civil engineering contractor and with a recent award on a long-term highway improvement scheme in Gloucester, are actively recruiting for a Site Agent/Project Manager.

Reporting into the Contracts Manager, candidates will be responsible for:

• Managing all contractual and SHEQ requirements.
• Planning and programming earthworks packages.
• Preparing and monitoring of CPP and RAMS.
• Identifying risk to allow effective mitigation to be implemented.
• Coordinating resources including plant, labour, materials, and subcontractors.
• Financial control and reporting.
• Communicating effectively across all levels.
• Implementing and ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Maintaining records.

Successful candidates will possess:

• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering.
• CSCS (Black) Manager's Card or NVQ Level 6 certification (preferred).
• SMSTS.
• Earthworks and highways construction experience.
• Proven track record of delivering civil engineering projects.
• IT proficiency with MS Office and MS Project.
• Strong knowledge of NEC 3 & 4 forms of contract.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
