Site Engineer needed for a up-and-coming Civil Engineering company. This company is fresh to the market and already winning major contracts, therefore this is a great chance to get in with a new and successful company. As a Site Engineer, you will carry out setting out and engineering duties on groundworks & civils projects across Yorkshire, the Humber and Lincolnshire.
Requirements
For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;
- CSCS Card
- Driving Licence
- HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
For this role it is desirable that you hold the following skills & experience below;
- Experienced as a Setting Out / Site Engineer on Groundworks & Civils projects in the UK (including highways, 278 works, car parks, ducting, drainage, kerbs)
The Role
- Job Title: Site Engineer
- Duration: Temp to Perm, Permanent
- Reporting to: Site Manager
- Location: Working on Projects within 1 hour of Doncaster (West / South Yorkshire, Humber, Lincolnshire)
Duties
- Setting up and maintaining site control
- Setting Out Sites and Organising Facilities
- Ensuring compliance with works standards
- Setting out and surveying of the site
- To attend Team Briefs & carry out briefings when needed
- Setting out for drainage, foundations, pipes, kerbs, roads & highways, ducting, car parks
- Checking and Preparing Site Reports, Designs and Drawings
- Liaising With Clients, Subcontractors and Other Professional Staff
- Ensure work is completed to the correct quality
