We are currently sourcing for an experienced Project/Site manager to join our clients existing team in WF14. Our client is one of the largest privately owned manufacturers of offsite engineered buildings in the UK, providing the widest range of solutions to meet all of their customers need from design, manufacturing to construction. With their sectors being across healthcare, site accommodation, industrial & commercial and education we are looking for design manager that is able to take to each tailored and bespoke project.

Duties

  • To supervise and oversee the project on site, ensuring client requirements, programme, H&S environmental and quality standards are being adhered to.
  • Client point of contact on site
  • Sub-contractor/consultant point of contact on site.
  • Liaising with clients and reporting on progress
  • Assist the project manager with the production of site access plans, site delivery plans and construction phase plans.
  • Provide daily reporting to the Project Managers including reporting on any resourcing issues.
  • Oversee daily activities of sub-contractors on site.
  • Day to day problem solving, escalating any major concerns to the Project Manager
  • Managing any on-site client change requests and variations, following discussions with the PM/QS.
  • Quality checks and completing necessary documentation.
  • Ensure Health and Safety procedures are adhered to on site and necessary documentation is completed and stored correctly both electronically and in paper form.
  • Ensure Building Control have been notified at appropriate junctions.
  • Coordinate and oversee deliveries to site.
  • Quality check of delivery to site
  • Ensure all workers have the correct certifications and qualifications to be on site.
  • Site inductions, Toolbox talks and other training where applicable.
  • Cost management of consumables required for site and hired plant and equipment.
  • Coordination of subcontractor RAMS and issue to client team
  • Attend project debriefs to review price performance and proactively look for ways to improve performance.
  • Use of on-site tablet and completion of relevant forms

Hours

  • Monday/Thursday - 8:30am/5:00pm
  • Friday - 8:30am/3:00pm

  • £55,000 per annum

Travel

  • Please note that this role involves travelling too and from projects. you will be able to claim mileage and also receive a daily allowance. The client also allows days in lieu of weekend working.
