Exciting Site Manager opportunity available with a reputable social housing contractor in West London. This opportunity offers you an ability to utilise all your skills within the social housing sector with knowledge of voids/responsive repairs and planned works being a bonus. This opportunity really gives the Site Manager a verity in work and ensures a fulfilling role with a progressive company and an attractive salary.
Main Duties:
- Manage multiple sites and ensuring the work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality by effectively organising and managing the site activities
- Understand agreed scop of works and budgets set in place to deliver the works
- Carry out validation surveys to scope of the works
- Manage direct team of operatives across multiple jobs.
- Ensure all operational staff (including supply chain) understand the schedule of works and time frames that need to be met
- Work alongside operatives in the delivery of works to ensure that quality and right first-time standards are achieved and maintained.
- Ensure materials are ordered in a timely manner to maximise productivity onsite
- Liaising with supply chain (Sub-contractors) and arranging them to carry out works
- Look for opportunities and variations per property to maximise commercial viability on each scheme.
- Ensure Health & safety is kept to a high standard at all times.
- Ensuring operatives you are responsible for understand their roles and responsibilities, and manage them accordingly by providing guidance and training as necessary
- Monitor reportable accidents and ensure correct paperwork is submitted to appropriate personnel
- Liaise with residents and client representatives
- Work to agreed programmes / timescales and updating programmes on site for monitoring purposes
The business requires the Site Manager to also possess the following:
Experience and Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge of responsive repairs/voids/planned works/project works.
- Knowledge of Social Housing and works
- Understanding of how to maximise productivity and how to measure and improve.
- Good written and oral presentation
- Good understanding of H&S legislation
- SSSTS, First aid, Asbestos awareness, CSCS supervisor
- Full UK driving licence and willing to travel
- Managing direct trades
- Material procurement
Skills and Aptitude:
- Holder of a Full UK Driving Licence (No more that 6 points)
- Previous Site Management experience on Social Housing and works
- Proven track record in successfully managing multiple small project
- Literate and numerate with good IT Skills
- Ability to co-ordinate and liaise direct labour and arranging sub-contractors
- Ability to be communicate professionally with the team and clients.
- Self-motivated and ambitious
- Able to work as part of a team and independently including setting and managing own tasks.

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year depending on experience
