ASAP Start - 5 months+ work - Commercial build for a Tier one contractor

Your new companyHays is working with a well known Main Contractor who require a SMSTS Site Manager to work on a commercial build in Derby. The expected duration for this role is 5-months which takes the project through to completion.

Your new role

• Reporting to the Senior Site Manager
• Supervising subcontractors
• Conducting quality and safety inspections
• Maintaining quality control checks
• Motivating the workforce
• Supporting with the logistics and deliveries on site
• Ensuring on-site safety through risk assessment and risk management
• This is very much a 'site based role' with minimal requirement for you to be based within the site cabins

What you'll need to succeedExtensive experience working for a tier one contractor as an 'on-site Site Manager'It is crucial you are able to demonstrate your ability to effectively manage and drive sub-contractors & directly employed labourExperience coordinating all logistics on a busy commercial siteBlack/Gold CSCS card, SMSTS & First Aid are all essential
