Description

  • Lead and manage construction sites as the lead contractor, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Oversee all aspects of project execution, including site setup, scheduling, budget management, subcontractor coordination, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure effective communication and successful project outcomes.
  • Monitor and control project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays to minimise disruptions and mitigate risks.
  • Manage and motivate site staff and subcontractors, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure a positive and productive working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, including those related to health and safety, quality assurance, and environmental sustainability.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably within the construction industry and social housing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building regulations, and health and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate site teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
