Site Manager

Our client, a well-established construction company, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee projects across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire & North Herts. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in managing construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will be based in or near Cambridgeshire, as the company s office is located there.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee site operations, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain high-quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and project teams to meet project specifications.
  • Conduct regular progress meetings and site inspections.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and health & safety requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Certifications required: SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience with medical and commercial build projects, such as data centres would be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with university construction projects, particularly within the Cambridge area.
