Randstad are working with a civils contractor to hire a Site Manager, focusing on a project for 6 months in Herefordshire
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement detailed work plans in coordination with project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure successful completion.
- Supervise and lead a team, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety standards.
- Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Resource Management: Manage labour, plant and materials delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, particularly delivering roads and sewers for commercial or residential developments.
- CSCS Card
- SMSTS
- First Aid
- Strong knowledge of groundworks processes, techniques, and materials.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
