Overview

We're looking for an experienced Site Manager / Sub Agent to oversee a highways scheme involving the demolition of an existing culvert and construction of a new structure on a freelance basis.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day site supervision, subcontractor management, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
• Strong focus on health & safety, quality assurance, and environmental compliance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in highways/civil engineering, ideally with culvert or drainage works
• Strong subcontractor management and site coordination skills
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations and temporary works
• CSCS (Site Manager), SMSTS & First Aid certifications
• Ability to interpret drawings/specs with excellent communication & organisational skills

Desirable

• NEC contract experience
• Small-medium infrastructure project exposure
• Familiarity with digital site management tools
