Site Manager

I am looking for an experienced Site Manager to work in the Whitstable area. The perfect applicant will have knowledge and experience working on projects within wastewater or water treatment.
Role: Site Manager
Location: Whitstable
Contract: Freelance
Rate: £380-440 per day (PAYE)
When: ASAP

Duties will include:
- Ensure all works are undertaken with regard to the needs of the local population.
- Manage, supervise and mentor the site team.
- Adopt, maintain and promote cost conscious management
- Ensure realistic scheme programmes are prepared, reviewed and updated.
- Ensure method statements and risk assessments are prepared, reviewed, briefed and updated.
- Ensure all "as constructed" records are provided to the CDMC for inclusion within the Health and Safety File in a timely manner following scheme completion.
Skills Required:
- Experienced in the Water & Wastewater Treatment Industry
- CSCS Site Manager
- Recognised Civil Engineering/Site Management Qualifications
- Health, Safety and Environmental Management (IOSH or Construction Managers Safety Certificate)
- First Aid at Work
Skills Desirable:
- Ambitious and dynamic personality
- Experience of working on Water Industry construction projects, preferably with experience of large and complex deliveries
- Someone with a commitment to right first time
- Ideally have 5 years water experience
- Ambitious and dynamic personality
- Strong leadership and a commitment for delivering excellence
