Location: Tokers Green, Reading Salary - Up to £30,638.40 p.a. Full time permanent position, starting September 2024

Aurora Rowan School

Part of the Aurora Group, Aurora Rowan School in Tokers Green, Reading, Berkshire is due to open in November 2024, supporting young people aged 6 -16 with a diagnosis of Autism spectrum disorder, moderate to Severe Learning needs and associated difficulties, who require an individualised, specialist approach.

We are currently looking to recruit a?Site Manager?to join our expanding team and work alongside the School Business Manager to aid the smooth running of the school.?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new venture in a school that will grow with you. You will be a part of the Brand-New School set up. It is an opportunity for you to help shape the provision and develop the school to be the best that it can be.

Job Summary

The Site Manager is responsible for ensuring that all matters relating to the continuous operation, maintenance and cleanliness of the buildings, grounds and equipment are managed in such a way that ensures a high-quality site service is provided at all times thus ensuring the safeguarding, health, safety and general well-being of all those accessing the site.

By working with the central estates department, the Site Manager will also support the development of the services through site expansion projects and integrating new/developed buildings.

The site includes 3 buildings, lawned area, playground, ancient woodland and fields. It is planned for outdoor learning to be provided as a regular activity and some creative carpentry and gardening skills would be beneficial.

The support services teams are an essential pillar in enabling the children and young adults to achieve their full potential.
