Site Manager required to join a premier Northern Ireland based contractor on commercial schemes

Hays Construction have been retained by a client who are a Tier 1 Building & Civil Engineering Contractor, operating across the UK & Ireland. This firm are a leading Northern Ireland based company who regularly work on major Design & Build and Civil Engineering projects valued up to £100m. This company deliver projects across a range of sectors, including healthcare, education, industrial, retail, sporting venues, transport infrastructure, environmental improvements, marine, commercial, residential and leisure. They currently require an experienced Site Manager to join them on an £85m Office Block Project in a Major UK City.
Your new role
Due to sustained bid success, this company require an experienced Site Manager to initially oversee a Design & Build project involving the construction and CAT A fit-out of two office blocks providing commercial accommodation and a multi-storey carp park. As Site Manager you must have experience of running projects regularly exceeding £20m budget. The ideal candidate will have experience working to demanding schedules whilst maintaining a focus on quality, health & safety. As Site Manager the expectancy will be to have excellent technical experience and contractual knowledge, whilst ordering materials and supervising subcontractors. You will work alongside the Project Manager to ensure that client time and budget targets are met.

In order to perform to the full requirements of this position, a successful Site Manager would be able to motivate a large work force with a can-do attitude and self-drive whilst upholding the high standards set over the firm's lengthy presence in the industry.
