Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Heritage Site Manager to join our team and oversee the preservation and promotion of our historical sites.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for the conservation and management of heritage sites
- Conduct research on historical significance and cultural value of heritage assets
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the protection and promotion of heritage sites
- Manage conservation projects, including budgeting and scheduling
- Organise educational programmes and events to engage the public with heritage sites
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to heritage assets
Requirements:
- Proven experience in heritage conservation and management
- Proficiency in Civil 3D software for site mapping and analysis
- Strong project management skills with excellent time management abilities
- Knowledge of heritage legislation and regulations
- Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve preservation goals
