Our client is a medium size main contractor that specialise in building residential new build projects in London and its home counties. They have over 30 live sites currently and build from 30 units through to 300.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Manager to join their project team based in Morden. The project is a newbuild site consisting of 60 houses. There is roughly a year left on the project and so the client is happy to consider either hiring on a freelance or permanent basis.
Reporting into the site based project manager, the role will involve overseeing the internal and external works on a range of trad build houses.
Your day to day duties will include (But not limited to);
- Full management of the sub contractors with a key focus on the quality of delivery
- Progress reporting to the Project Manager
- All aspects of Health and safety
- Weekly site meetings
- Sequencing of works
- Ensuring the programme is being met on time and on budget
- Inductions and site introductions to clients and visitors
You must have previous residential experience, particularly on housing site.
