Hays Construction are currently working alongside a prominent Northern Irish contractor who are currently searching for an experienced Site Manager to join their senior operational team.
This company delivers a range of projects across the public and private sector, working with clients in the Health, Education & Commercial industries providing full build and fit out and refurb packages. This Co. Tyrone based firm has delivered projects across the UK & Ireland valued at up to £5m. With a busy order book over the coming months, this company is currently undertaking a new refurb project based in County Antrim, with a start date of February 2024.
This is a permanent role.
Your New Role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operation on site, delivering daily briefings and keeping the project on track whilst applying your technical expertise and ability where necessary. You will have strong communication skills and a good level of leadership with the ability to motivate those on site. You will be health and safety focused whilst being responsible for ordering materials and supervising subcontractors. You will be deadline focused, motivating the team to hit key targets whilst ensuring the project is kept within the client budget and programme.
What You'll Need to Succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience overseeing refurb and fast-paced projects while managing subcontractors. You will have previous experience of carrying out work at a management level, as well as possessing relevant tickets (e.g. SMSTS / SSSTS / CSCS / NVQ). You will be a self-starter with excellent leadership skills and technical ability, possessing a keen eye for detail whilst upholding high standards throughout the programme of work.
