Site Manager required to oversee fit out and drylining package on £50m school project

Your new company
Hays Construction have retained a client who require the need for a Site Manager to join their operational team. This company specialise in fit out and drylining and partition packages providing solutions on a wide range of projects. This firm work alongside some of the industry's tier 1 contractors, providing quality finishes and ensuring optimum satisfaction levels for clients. This Northwest firm have a busy order book, working on a range of projects across the UK & Ireland throughout 2024, with an initial requirement on one of the biggest education newbuild projects in the country right now.
Your new role
Your new role will see you manage the contract for internals and dry lining on a new school project in Lurgan. You will be responsible for material procurement, day to day management of site team, decision making and complex problem solving as well as performing site inductions, quality control checks, cost and project progress monitoring activities.
You will be expected to oversee and manage all programme and labour on site and acting as a direct point of contact between men on the ground and the contracts manager.
With plenty of work in the pipeline in Northern Ireland, the successful candidate can be assured of long-term work at home, with no need for excessive travel to fulfil your duties.
What you'll need to succeed
To successfully fulfil the needs of this role you will possess a high level of communication, organisation and the ability to uphold a high standard of work throughout the project. Previous experience of overseeing fitout and drylining projects including commercial and retail schemes would help you excel in this role.

It is required that you have suitable experience as a Site Manager working on similar, medium to large projects. Furthermore, you must hold a valid CSR Site Supervisor Card, CSCS, or SMSTS training certificate.
