One of the UK's most renowned contractors is seeking a Site Manager that has a strong background in structural steel builds. The ideal candidate must have experience managing a structural steel package on a commercial project and a proven track record of safety on site.

This is a freelance position for 5 weeks, however with this client having a project pipeline busy for the next few years. This is a fantastic opportunity for long-term work and also a chance to work for one of UK's leading contractors.

Candidate Duties:

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the project aligns with specifications and schedules
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality
• Ensuring all work is performed to the required standards and specifications
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Ensure cost-effective use of resources and identify potential cost savings
• Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site.
• Maintain accurate records of all site activities, including progress reports, daily logs, and incident reports

Candidates Requirements:

• Structural steel experience essential
• Façade expertise
• Proven track record of safety of the site
• Ability to drive site teams
• Ability to chair meetings
• SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
