Site Supervisor

I am looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join a Tier 1 contractor working in the Sheerness area. The perfect applicant will have knowledge and experience working on projects within wastewater or water treatment.
Role: Site Supervisor
Location: Sheerness
Contract: Freelance
Rate: £350-£400 per day

Duties will include:
- Reporting directly to the Site Agent.
- Actively support the Site Manager to maintain and enforce safety standards as required by statute and in accordance with Thames water safety policies.
- Appraise the security risk to all Thames property under your control and install security levels commensurate to the relative values.
- Coordinate and control initial site set-up, actively installing systems and procedures.
- Rigorously apply and enforce methods and controls to ensure the most effective and continuous use of resources.
- Work to method statements and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance to all HS&E policies and procedures.
Skills Required:
- Experience in groundworks and water treatment industry
- ONC or HNC in a construction discipline
- CSCS Card
- SMSTS/SSSTS
- First Aid
- Preferably confined space trained
Skills Desirable:
- Ambitious and dynamic personality
- Experienced working in the water and wastewater industry with groundworks experience.
- Construction projects, preferably with experience of large and complex deliveries
- Someone with a commitment to Right first time
- Ideally have 5 years water experience
