Estimator Social Housing Projects
Location: Swanley (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days from home)

Are you an experienced Estimator with a background in social housing? We are seeking a talented Estimator to join a leading Tier 2 contractor, specializing in a wide range of social housing projects. From decent homes and kitchen/bathroom refurbishments to facade remediation and SHDF/Eco projects, you ll be involved in large-scale developments ranging from £2 million up to £400 million.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for social housing projects.
• Work on a variety of projects including decent homes, kitchen/bathroom refurbishments, facade remediation, and SHDF/Eco works.
• Analyse tender documentation, site surveys, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the social housing sector.
• Knowledge of social housing frameworks and refurbishments (including decent homes, kitchens, bathrooms, and facade works).
• Experience working on projects valued between £2 million and £400 million.
• Excellent understanding of project costing, tendering, and risk management.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
• Relevant qualifications in construction or a related field are desirable.
