Reporting directly to the Director of Professional Services, the Senior Manager of Professional Services leads a team of technical experts to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet customer requirements. This role involves monitoring customer engagements from inception to delivery, driving operational excellence, ensuring client satisfaction, and achieving revenue targets. - Ensure proper documentation and communication throughout all PS project engagements.
- Monitor team workloads and capacity to balance priorities.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality professional services that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Monitor team utilization, revenue, and profitability.
- Contribute to the development of the professional services strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
- Identify opportunities for service expansion and innovation.
- Identify and progress training and development opportunities for the team.
- Develop and execute strategies to scale the professional services organization and meet revenue and profitability goals.
- Collaborate with sales, product management, and customer success teams to define service offerings and support business growth.
- Ensure projects adhere to quality standards and meet customer expectations through strong project governance.
- Monitor project progress and address potential risks proactively.
- Optimize delivery processes, templates, and best practices to improve efficiency and quality.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve the success of engagements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on performance metrics and customer feedback.
- Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performance team of consultants, project managers, and technical resources.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Promote skill development and knowledge sharing across the team.
- Serve as an escalation point for critical customer issues during project delivery.
- Ensure a strong focus on client success by deeply understanding their business needs and objectives.
- Drive post-engagement reviews to capture lessons learned and identify areas for improvement.
- 8+ years of experience in an IT related field.
- Consultative experience designing and advocating for best-practice solutions.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Team Lead or Manager.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Financial acumen for budget management and forecasting.
- Strong documentation skills, attention to detail is essential.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- CISSP and/or similar certification a plus.
