The objective of this position is working in the Creative/Design team working with the Creative Manager in overseeing design and elevation projects in store. The role will be involved in store concept design, shop fit rollouts, and enhancing the overall retail experience for customers.
The roles and responsibilities of Store Design & Development Manager :
- Collaborating with project teams and external agencies to create compelling final products that captivate consumers.
- Bring design innovation to the in-store customer experience for brand new concept and fresh shop fits.
- Work closely with Project Teams, Designers, and External Manufacturing Partners to deliver an enhanced customer experience.
- This role will focus on the design element store formats and store development that will be passed to the Project Lead & Coordinators
- This involves adapting Company Standard Specifications to reflect the latest Retail Concept and creating specific briefing documents.
- Cultivating strong relationships with key retail partners to grasp their crucial commercial strategies and contribute to the success of the business.
- Participating in site visits and collaborating with manufacturing partners alongside key stakeholders during development projects.
- Ensure standardised and relevant communication while understanding key aspects, especially within development projects, in line with current store commercials and future business direction.
To be successful in this Store Design & Development Manager:
- 3 years + Retail Design/shop design/Store development, project experience.
- Must have InDesign experience.
- Experience using AutoCad, Revit and Microsoft Project (desirable)
- Experience with working with store design, construction, external contractors, retail operations and internal commercial stakeholders.
- Knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of project management and project management tools.
- Ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise work schedule for self and work within agreed timescales.
- Familiarity with full MS suite.
- Have worked in a head office environment and happy with expensed UK travel - you will be office based either in London or the Midlands and travelling regularly to different stores.
