The Role
The Strategy & Planning team is a core group within the Office of the CEO at MUBI that guides critical business decisions across the company through financial, operational, and strategic analysis. The team works side-by-side with business leaders across all functions and serves as the key point-of-contact in the areas of business performance and strategic insights. The team is highly visible throughout the organisation and in particular to the senior leadership of MUBI who depend heavily on the insights and perspectives from the team to inform important business decisions in the ongoing growth of the business.
You will focus on:
Overseeing master financial model; managing end-to-end delivery; optimising model and input processes; improving planning accuracy over time
Supporting annual budgeting process, coordinating and managing in-year forecasts
Managing ongoing reporting to investors and Board of Directors
Managing preparation and execution of debt and equity fundraises
Managing M&A due diligence and execution; support post-closing integration plans
Driving evaluation, assessment and reporting of studio content investments
Streamlining cross-functional reporting and analysis of commercial/operational KPIs (example, B2C unit economics- growth, retention, LTV, payback)
Project managing and executing cross-functional operational initiatives; work with content, marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on goals and progress
What you will bring:
BA or BSc, and 3+ years of experience M&A, private equity or corporate FP&A
Strong technical and modelling skills, corporate finance experience
Proactivity, with an ability to problem solve and work independently
Effective communication and strong writing skills
(Desired) Experience within technology and/or media practice or industry
