Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Substations Senior Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of our complex and challenging substation projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. As a Substations Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our projects and contributing to the overall growth of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle for substation projects, from conception to completion.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor and control project risks, issues, and changes, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and satisfaction.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, motivating and empowering them to achieve project milestones and goals.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the substations or power industry, with a minimum of 5 years of successful project delivery.
- Strong understanding of substation design, construction, and commissioning processes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Experience working up to 400 kv.
