Technical Project Manager - Castleford Salary range: £35,000 - £45,000 Due to company growth, an excellent opportunity has arisen to join the project management team at one of the UK's leading manufacturers of touch screen kiosks providing kiosk hardware and bespoke software solutions with web based backoffice systems that give customers full control to manage estates. Inhouse CAD, software and production teams give them the flexibility to meet all customer requirements. They supply both private and public sector organisations and each year have expanded their product range and customer base. Due to this continued growth they are now looking to recruit a technical project manager who will be working alongside the management team and coordinating with the software and production teams to lead customer projects, R&D and product development to successful delivery. You will be a part of technical, creative and innovative teams delivering new and improved functionality at the forefront of the industry. The Technical Project Manager covers a wide range of duties, giving the successful applicant the opportunity to be fully involved in many aspects of the business to include: Project planning, scheduling and documentation with detailed project plan to track progress Identify challenges and proactively mitigate risks throughout the project Deliver the project within budget, in accordance to the scope and timelines set out during project initiation Coordinate internal resources ensuring responsibilities met, information shared and scopes are met Lead regular meetings to ensure the project plan is up to date, activities are on schedule, relevant checks are being done and any changes are documented and shared Working closely with customers during the project and leading customer signoffs/installs The role would suit self starting and driven person with experience in or a keen interest in both the hardware and software elements of delivery, good attention to detail and passion for technology. Must possess excellent communication skills being able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders with varying technical capabilities. Knowledge of the software lifecycle and product development is advantageous. The working week is 40 hrs Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00 hrs and will have the opportunity for hybrid working once applicant knowledge base has grown sufficiently.
