Our client is a well run and busy contractor whom are looking for an Assistant /Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial department.
This role would suit somebody looking for a long term career opportunity and looking to make a day to day impact on the business they are working for.
You will ideally have experience of surveying and costing on residential development projects-
Key responsibilities
Assisting Surveying Manager
Produce valuations and payment applications
It is essential to have the knowledge and confidence to be able to take site measurements and pricing.
Identify changes to works information
Costing variations
Understanding of quality control, material scheduling etc
Subcontract account management
Cost reporting
