Techniche Global are working with an engineering company to appoint a Validation & Verification Manager. Type:Permanent, Hybrid working, 2 days a week in their office in New Malden Salary: region of £60-80k. Negotiable for an established Systems Engineering or V&V Background.Due to the nature of these projects Northrop can only consider candidates that are Sole UK Nationals.The Verification and Validation Manager will provide management and leadership for the Verification and Validation team. Your Responsibilities: Approval of an appropriate suite of plans, standards and procedures for the V&V work. Ensure that Programme plans are realistic and are kept up to date with Engineering team agreement. Ensure all programme teams are adequately resourced with suitable trained SQEP engineer. Drive for industry best practice for engineering verification, validation and qualification Comply with security requirements. Periodic self-assessment, review and audit of the V&V team adherence to design standards, methods, skills and competencies and processes & procedures in the quality system.Your Experience: Degree or equivalent career experience in engineering discipline e.g. Systems Engineering Verification & Validation Must be a confident people manager with demonstrable experience, previous people management experience Experienced in Software and Hardware testing experience of complex PLC based control systems, other complex HMI control systems MBSE/OOSE, capability delivery, or other concepts to supplement the traditional SE/IVVTQA approach.The role will be based working on Systems Engineering for Naval Submarines. Doing all the validation, verification and testing of both software and hardware for underwater vessel controls.
