Title:
Vendor Manager
Job Purpose:
As a Vendor Manager, you would manage Marken's Home Health Care vendors (including contracting, pricing negotiations and KPI management).
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
To establish and deliver on vendor cost saving targets by establishing rate cards for all HHC vendors.
To facilitate and maintain vendor relationships including executing and maintaining vendor onboarding, business reviews, performance reviews, KPI's and annual price reviews.
To execute the HHC operational strategy by identifying additional HHC vendors in line with agreed criteria and operational strategy.
Maintaining oversight and review for completeness of all vendor related documents, including quality and legal documents.
To facilitate monthly internal vendor management review calls.
To stay abreast of market challenges within the HHC landscape and potential impact of those changes to Marken's HHC offering and to support the feasibility team with information to assess new countries and capabilities as needed.
Identify vendor improvement areas and liaise internally to support execution.
Liaising directly with vendors to obtain quotes pre- and post- study award to support budget generation, in line with rate cards, and negotiation in a timely manner.
To work with internal teams to ensure that vendor quotations are in line with study requirements.
To perform full marginal analysis on vendor proposals to ensure company margin requirements are met.
Manage Vendor Contract administration process for awarded studies in conjunction with legal team, and project management. Ensuring that contracts are drafted and agreed for projects in a timely manner.
Act as escalation point for vendor related issues.
To liaise directly with a range of internal stakeholders (Business Development, Project Management, SSU, Pricing and other operational functions) as required.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 years experience in a clinical trials / clinical homecare environment.
Life science graduate.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and manage multiple projects.
Excellent communication skills with fluent written and spoken English.
Ability to manage multiple projects proactively across a multi-disciplinary team.
Strong commercial acumen.
Strong analytical skills.
Previous experience working within a clinical trial environment.
Knowledge about home health care services and potential applications.
